Team Selections:
The Upper Deck Staff forms teams in each age group 9U-16U at the beginning of August. Players are picked through a tryout and selection process by the head coaches in each age division. Upper Deck Staff will verify that teams are equally balanced based with number of players and position representation. Teams may practice and scrimmage against each other, however, they will play separately in tournaments. Each team will play a full season starting in September through July to following year.
The Upper Deck Staff is committed to providing each team the resources needed to make them equally competitive and successful. The Upper Deck Staff will assist in choosing tournaments in the fall and winter that will best help the team prepare themselves for the more elite events in the spring and summer. By doing this the teams can work on their rosters and lineups to ensure they have the best team ready to participate in the events from April – July which draw the best talent from around Florida and surrounding states.
